SRS Airbags (Driver & Front Passenger Seats)
The Coaster features SRS driver’s and front passenger’s airbags. In the event of severe frontal collision, together with the seatbelt, they help reduce the impact to the driver’s and front passenger’s head and upper torso. The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbag is a supplemental device to be used with the seatbelt. The driver and all passengers in the vehicle must wear their seatbelts properly at all times.
3-point ELR seatbelts with pretensioner and force limiter (Driver’s & Front Passenger’s Seats)
In severe frontal collisions, pretensioner rewinds the seatbelts instantly to help assist driver and front passenger restraint. The force limiter helps to relieve excessive force on the upper torso.
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)
ABS helps to prevent the wheels from locking up on slippery roads, contributing to stable steering control.
Rigid Body that complies with rollover regulations
To help provide peace of mind, the Coaster complies with the rollover regulations set out in UN-R66/02, a United Nations standard for evaluating the strength of bus bodies. ABS helps to prevent the wheels from locking up on slippery roads, contributing to stable steering control.
